Institutional Separate Account Management
We offer separate account management for taxable and tax-exempt institutional clients with a minimum account size of $10 million. We strive to consistently provide our clients with investment performance in the top-quartile of U.S. real estate securities managers. Accounts are managed to pursue long-term equity growth by investing in securities of REITs and real estate operating companies, emphasizing above-average cash flow yield and growth. For our institutional clients, we offer three strategies that can be customized to their specific investment policies and guidelines. Privately Managed Accounts
We offer managed accounts for endowments, foundations, institutions and high net worth investors through numerous investment advisor consultants and on a direct basis. A privately managed account offers investors a portfolio of individual securities that can be managed in a manner sensitive to specific investment and tax objectives. Security Capital Preferred Growth Incorporated (SC-Preferred Growth) is a private real estate investment trust established in 1997 to facilitate institutional investment in a diversified portfolio of high-potential real estate operating companies, using convertible preferred equity structures to provide substantial mitigation of investment risks. SC-Preferred Growth seeks to generate net returns in the mid-teens, while outperforming
and experiencing less volatility than - the Wilshire Real Estate Securities Index (WARESI). More than 90% of SC-Preferred Growth's investments have been made through direct negotiation with issuers, enabling SC-Preferred Growth to customize investment structures for optimum risk-return balance, and to maximize the value of its holdings by providing ongoing operating guidance and other resources to its portfolio companies.
