Q. Who is covered by the Privacy Policy?
A. This Privacy Policy applies to relationships of individual clients or former clients with Security Capital. (If you reside outside of the United States, you may have privacy protections under local laws applicable in that jurisdiction). We provide our Privacy Policy to our clients when they open a new account and to current clients annually after that. We will send you a new privacy policy if we broaden our information sharing practices about you.
Q. What information do you have about me?
A. To provide services and to help meet your needs, we collect information about you from various sources.
- We get information from your requests for our products or services. For example, your investment objectives, approximate income or other personal information on applications or other forms.
- We get information about your transactions with us and with others. For example, purchases, sales and account balances.
- We may also get information through account inquiries by mail, e-mail or telephone.

A. We take a number of steps to protect the privacy of information about you. Here are some examples:

Special Notice for Vermont Residents.
In order to comply with Vermont law, if we disclose information about you to other financial institutions with which we have joint marketing agreements, we will only disclose your name, contact information and information about your transactions.
