fund, Security Capital U.S. Real Estate Shares
(Ticker: SUSIX), institutional separate accounts, high net worth managed
accounts and our private placement investment vehicle, Security Capital
Preferred Growth Incorporated.
Composite, has generated an average annual return of 17.9% since its inception on December 31, 1995, compared to 13.7% for the Dow Jones Wilshire Real Estate Securities Index (WARESI) for the same period, an average annual outperformance of 422 basis points over this period. Viewed in comparison to alternative public real estate benchmarks, this average annual outperformance margin increases to 477 basis points versus the RMS Index and 459 basis points versus the NAREIT index.
