Our composite of core client accounts, Security Capital Real Estate Institutional Growth and Income Composite, has generated a cumulative average annual return of
18.4% since its inception on December 31, 1995, compared to 12.3% for the
Wilshire Real Estate Securities Index (WARESI) for the same period, an average annual outperformance of
606 basis points over this period. Viewed in comparison to alternative public real estate benchmarks, this
average annual outperformance margin increases to 680 basis points versus the RMS index and
667 points versus the NAREIT index.
