William D. Sanders
William D. Sanders is Chairman and Chief Executive Officer of Security Capital, which he founded in 1991. Prior to Security Capital, Mr. Sanders founded LaSalle Partners Limited in 1968 and served as its Chairman and Chief Executive Officer until his retirement in 1989. He currently serves as a Director of Security Capital European
Realty and Storage
USA, Inc. In addition, he is Chairman of the National Association of Real Estate Investment Trusts, Inc. (NAREIT). He previously served as a director of Continental Bank Corporation, King Ranch, Inc., Lone Star Technologies and R.R. Donnelley. Mr. Sanders has also served on the executive committee of the Board of Trustees of the University of Chicago and as a Trustee Fellow of his Alma Mater, Cornell University.
C. Ronald Blankenship
C. Ronald Blankenship is Vice Chairman and Chief Operating Officer of Security Capital. Mr. Blankenship is a trustee of
ProLogis Trust as well as a Director of BelmontCorp, InterPark Holdings Incorporated, Regency
Centers Corporation and Storage USA, Inc. Prior to joining Security Capital in 1991, Mr. Blankenship was a regional partner with Trammell Crow Residential in Chicago. Mr. Blankenship was on the management board for Trammell Crow Residential Services, and was Chief Executive Officer of Trammell Crow Residential Services-North. Previously, Mr. Blankenship served as Executive Vice President and Chief Financial Officer of the Mischer Corporation in Houston, a multi-business holding company with investments primarily in real estate. Mr. Blankenship received his BBA from the University of Texas at Austin.
Thomas G. Wattles
Thomas G. Wattles is a Managing Director of Security Capital, a position he has held since 1991. Mr. Wattles was Co-Chairman and Chief Investment Officer of ProLogis Trust from November 1993 to March 1997. Mr. Wattles currently serves as a trustee of ProLogis Trust
and as a director of Security Capital European Realty, Access Self-Storage Holdings S.A., Akeler Holdings S.A., Bernheim Comofi S.A., and InterPark Holdings Incorporated. Prior to joining Security Capital, Mr. Wattles was managing partner and founder of Stanwich Advisors Inc., a real estate advisory and development services firm in Stamford, Connecticut. Previously, Mr. Wattles was senior vice president of the Property Finance Group of LaSalle Partners Limited. Mr. Wattles received his MBA from the Stanford Graduate School of Business and his BA, with distinction, from Stanford University.

Anthony R. Manno, Jr.
Anthony R. Manno, Jr. is a Managing Director and the Chief Investment Officer of
Security Capital Research & Management Incorporated, a subsidiary of Security Capital. In addition, Mr. Manno is Chairman and President of Security Capital Preferred Growth Incorporated and Security Capital Real Estate Mutual Funds Incorporated. He also serves as a director of Security Capital
Research & Management, Security Capital Preferred Growth and Security Capital Real Estate Mutual Funds. Prior to joining Security Capital in 1994, Mr. Manno spent 14 years with LaSalle Partners Limited as a Managing Director, responsible for real estate investment banking activities. Mr. Manno began his career in real estate finance in 1974 at The First National Bank of Chicago. He received his MBA in finance with honors from the University of Chicago and graduated Phi Beta Kappa from Northwestern University with a BA and MA in economics.
Caroline S. McBride
Caroline S. McBride is a Managing Director of Security Capital, a position she has held since March 1997, where she provides operating oversight for companies in which Security Capital has ownership positions. From 1996 to 1997, Ms. McBride was Managing Director of Security Capital
Research & Management Incorporated. She is a director of the Real Estate Research Institute,
BelmontCorp, and Storage USA, Inc.
Prior to joining Security Capital, Ms. McBride was Director of private market investments for IBM Corporation, responsible for managing its real estate and private equity portfolio. Previously, Ms. McBride was Director of Finance, Investment and Asset Management for IBM's Corporate Real Estate Division, where she was responsible for investments in real estate joint ventures worldwide as well as the disposition of surplus corporate real estate property. Ms. McBride received her MBA from New York University and her BA from Middlebury College.
A. Richard Moore, Jr.
A. Richard Moore, Jr. is Managing Director of Security Capital European Realty, a position he has held since June 2000. Previously, Mr. Moore was Interim Chief Financial Officer for Homestead Village Incorporated from May 1999 to July 2000. Mr. Moore is director of Security Capital European Realty and Bernheim Comofi S.A. He joined Security Capital as a Managing Director in 1998. Previously, from March 1990 to May 1998, Mr. Moore was a Vice President with Goldman, Sachs & Co., where his most recent position was in the Equity Research Department.
Constance B. Moore
Constance B. Moore is Managing Director of Security Capital, a position she has held since January 1999, where she provides operating oversight for companies in which Security Capital has ownership positions. From July 1998 to December 1998, Ms. Moore was Co-Chairman and Chief Operating Officer of Archstone Communities Trust; she was also a trustee of Archstone from July 1998 to July 2000. From January 1996 to July 1998, Ms. Moore was Co-Chairman, Chief Operating Officer and Director of Security Capital Atlantic Trust, and from May 1994 to December 1995, she was Managing Director of Archstone. From March 1993 to April 1994, Ms. Moore was Senior Vice President of Security Capital. Ms. Moore is a Director of BelmontCorp, InterPark Holdings Incorporated and Macquarie Capital Partners
LLC.
James C. Swaim
James C. Swaim is a Managing Director of a Security Capital subsidiary, SCGroup Incorporated, since December 2000. He is the principal accounting officer for Security Capital. He was a Senior Vice President of SCGroup from December 1997 to December 2000. Previously, from July 1996 to December 1997, he was a private business and financial consultant. From December 1984 to March 1996, Mr. Swaim was employed by Farah Incorporated, where his most recent position was Executive Vice President and Chief Financial Officer, and where he was a member of the Board of Directors.
Paul E. Szurek
Paul E. Szurek is a Managing Director of SCGroup Incorporated and Chief Financial Officer of Security Capital since July 1997. Previously, from January 1996 to June 1997, Mr. Szurek was a Managing Director of the company, responsible for operations, corporate finance and mergers and acquisitions. Previously, from June 1993 to January 1996, Mr. Szurek was a Senior Vice President of Security Capital where he supervised corporate finance and corporate acquisitions and oversaw legal services for affiliates of the firm. Prior to joining Security Capital, Mr. Szurek was a shareholder and attorney in the law firm of Kemp, Smith, Duncan & Hammond in El Paso, where he practiced securities and mergers and acquisitions law. Mr. Szurek received his law degree, with honors, from the Harvard University Law School and his BA in Political Science, Phi Beta Kappa, from the University of Texas at Austin.
